You slam your car door with disgust as you anticipate the dreaded nightshift that is about to begin. The cool air hits your face as you walk across the abandoned parking lot. The ground is full of used latex gloves and facemasks from the disgusting people who throw them onto the ground thinking the world is their personal trash can. You look up at the bright Walmart sign and sigh, wishing that this night could end already. You think to yourself, if only the coronavirus pandemic could have prevented you from working, you could be sleeping this very moment.
Or
- You continue to walk through the automatic doors and meet with the night shift manager to find out what you will be working on tonight.
You walk up to the nightshift manager, Derek, who is a 45-year-old loser who still lives with his mother and drives you insane. Derek says, “Hey, everyone besides you called out so you are the only stocker for the night. I’m going to go into the office and watch Netflix all night so make sure you stock all the cleaning supplies isles and don’t forget the toilet paper.”
You think to yourself, “I should have just not showed up like everyone else. Why do I always get stuck doing all the work.” You clock in and begin to journey towards the back when you start to hear a ruckus coming from the stocking room. You stop, startled from the noise. All of a sudden, a hundred toilet paper roll monsters come blasting through the door. Each one was the normal toilet paper size but had small arms, eyes and mouths full of sharp teeth.
Terrified, you…
Or
- You run as fast as you can towards the middle of the store to look for help.
Running as fast as you possibly can, you scream out for help but there is no one to be seen. You take a sharp left and hid in the sports equipment section of the store. You are breathing heavily, looking down both ends of the isle, paranoid. You hold your breath to try and hear if the monsters are near. Without any such luck, you grab a baseball bat and walk towards the end of the isle. Peaking your head around the corner, you see the coast is clear. All of a sudden you hear a noise coming from the shelf behind you. BAM! The monsters jump at you.
Or
- You square up and start smacking the toilet paper monsters as hard as you can with the bat.
It took a few minutes, but you finally gained some space between you and the monsters. Its time to make another run for it. Sprinting through the isles you make it to the front of the store near the registers. The adrenaline is pumping through your veins. How could this be happening; you think to yourself. This such thing is impossible. Without any time to think, a wave of toilet paper roll monsters comes crashing through to the self-checkout registers. They have blocked your escape. You only have two options.
Or
- You have an idea and decide to fight back.
You run to the garden tools section of the store and fire up a snow blower that’s on display. Its time to get out of this horror story. You race to the front of the store with the snow blower on top speed. The monsters see you and start their attack. With great satisfaction, you start plowing your way through the herd of monsters. Toilet paper gets grinded up and spit out all over the store turning Walmart into a winter wonderland. You make a path directly through the center of the toilet paper roll monsters. Without hesitation you run for the exit. You make it out the door and sprint to your car.
