My movie is a compilation video of all the hysterical videos and photos I have collected of my friends and myself using the same snapchat filter these last three years. I used snapchat to take each one of these videos in order to use the filter that I love. I used iMovie to edit my video. The reason I chose iMovie is because I am not tech savy and I had the iMovie app access on my Apple products such as my iPhone and iPad. This allowed me to transfer all of the videos from my snapchat account into iMovie with ease. The iMovie app allowed me to select all the videos I wanted and put them in whatever order that I wanted. I chose to do it from my oldest video to my newest. Once my videos were added I was able to trim each video to the length that I wanted. I added a filter to the entire film to give the background some vibrant color. In addition to the videos, I was able to upload three introductory photos that explain a little of what the video includes. iMovie also allowed me to add background music to the video. I only tried to use one video editing platform because I felt that this was the easiet form for me to use while accessing my iPhone and iPad to export my videos. iMovie allowed me to do everything that I wanted for editing my video. If I were to do more advanced forms of editing I would have had to use a different program because iMovie is a simpler editing application. I hope you enjoy my video, I was so excited to make this movie because it allowed me to finally use all the funny videos I have acquired over the past three years.
